AMENITIES


  Excellent accommodation with executive rooms, suite rooms, private rooms and semi-private rooms-all air conditioned, and spacious wards.

  All private rooms are equipped with electric beds, individual telephones (PABX), Cable TV, refrigerator, intercom and automatic kettle.

  Upon admission, the patient is issued a Hospital Kit containing a personal glass tumbler, toiletries, and bedroom slippers.

  Executive rooms can be furnished with their own personal computers with DSL internet access upon request. In addition, 21" television sets are provided.

  Photocopying, Fax, Email services are available at the Business Office. Rates can be arranged.

PROCEDURES AND REGULATIONS

      VISITING HOURS

  •  Visiting hours: 9:00 am to 9:00 pm
  •  Only three (3) visitors will be allowed for each patient at a time.
  •  As a precaution against infection, children below ten (10) years old are not allowed in the hospital patient areas.                             

      WATCHERS

  • Only one (1) watcher is allowed to spend the night with the patient in the room.
  • All rooms are provided with a sleeping couch for the watcher’s use.                   

      DOCTOR’S ROUNDS

  • Morning rounds are from 7:00 am to 9:00 am.
  • Afternoon rounds are from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
  • During the rounds, patients should address all their concerns to the physician conducting the rounds.
  • Depending on the patient’s condition, the physicians and nurses, will from time to time, visit to monitor the patient’s progress.                         

      DISCHARGE PROCEDURE

  • The attending physician shall determine the appropriate day the patient may be allowed to go home.
  • Upon issuance of a written order from your attending physician, the patient’s watcher or companion should approach the Nurse on Duty for discharge instructions.
  • Prepare all pertinent documents and complete all Company/HMO/Medicare/PHIC forms to guarantee deduction from hospital bills.
  • Please allow one to two hours for the Business Office to process your bills.
  • After receiving your bill, carefully check all charges credited to you. The Nurse On Duty and Cashier will answer your questions regarding room and medicine charges. The professional fee, which may or may not be included in your bill, is a matter between you and your attending physician.
  • When you are ready to make your payment, proceed to the Business Office with your bill and payment
  • Upon making payment, the Cashier shall issue a Clearance Slip for you to present to the Nurses’ Station for signature.
  • The Orderly On Duty shall be available to assist you with your belongings as you leave the hospital premises.
  • Present your Clearance Slip to the Guard On Duty before leaving the hospital.
  • To avoid being charged for an extra day’s stay, a patient with a discharge order should make payment and clear out before 12:00 pm on the day the discharge order is given.     

      CAFETERIA

  • The In-house store (located at the 2nd floor) is open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Refreshments, drinks, toiletries, and other grocery items are available for sale.
  • Purified drinking water (done through ultraviolet and anti-microbial filters) is provided free of charge.
  • Tables, chairs and Cable TV are available for your dining pleasure.                         

      RELIGIOUS SERVICE

  • While the hospital is open to all patients regardless of religious affiliations, the conduct of any religious service should first be cleared through Management.

      MEALS

  • The preparation of all patients' meals is supervised by an In-house Dietician.
  • The following is the meal schedule: Breakfast-On or before 7:00 am; Lunch-On or before 12:00 pm; Supper-On or before 7:00 pm
  • A service unique to MFH is the privilege of choosing from a Menu for the following morning's breakfast. The Dietician/Nurse On Duty will visit you in the evening with the next day’s breakfast selection.
  • Patients occupying suite rooms are entitled to afternoon drinks and refreshments.  Two (2) packets of coffee are also available daily for the accompanying watchers.                        

      SAFETY AND SECURITY

  • The hospital values the safety and security as well as the privacy of its patients. To this end, all security measures are constantly being pursued and implemented.
  • All hospital employees wear official ID cards. If aware of unscrupulous individuals roaming around the hospital, please report them to any member of the hospital personnel on duty.
  • Personal appliances are not allowed inside the patient’s room.
  • MFH is a No Smoking hospital. Likewise, drinking alcoholic beverages is prohibited.
  • Firearms and other weapons are not to be brought to the hospital except for security purposes.
